Background

Hans is based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, near Heidelberg in the Kraichgau hill country. He is a multilingual independent developer who speaks German, English, French, and Russian fluently. Over the past two decades, he has lived and worked in more than 20 countries across Europe, Asia, and beyond, collaborating with distributed teams and building tools for global audiences.

Why PromptQuorum

PromptQuorum started from a simple frustration: when you need a reliable answer, querying one AI model is not enough. Different models hallucinate differently, make different mistakes, and succeed on different types of reasoning. The truth is in the overlap — where five independent models agree on an answer, confidence is dramatically higher than when one model answers alone.

Before building PromptQuorum, Hans spent years working with enterprise AI workflows and saw the same problem repeatedly: teams and organizations trusting single-model outputs for high-stakes decisions — hiring decisions, medical research summaries, legal analysis, risk assessments — without any verification layer or consensus mechanism. High-stakes decisions deserve better. PromptQuorum is the tool he wanted to exist.

Philosophy

Hans believes that privacy and user agency should be non-negotiable in AI tools. PromptQuorum is built on a simple principle: your prompts, your API keys, and your responses belong to you. The tool facilitates consensus and comparison across AI models, but nothing passes through PromptQuorum's servers. You are in control.

Why PromptQuorum Exists

Every major AI model hallucinates. GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini — all of them fabricate facts, miss context, and produce confident-sounding wrong answers. The difference is which facts each one gets wrong, and when.

When five independent models agree on an answer, the probability that all five fabricated the same specific detail is dramatically lower than when one model answers alone. Consensus is a reliability signal. PromptQuorum makes it easy to collect that signal.

The second problem is privacy. Most AI tools route your prompts through their own servers. PromptQuorum does not. Your API keys connect directly from your browser to your chosen providers. Nothing passes through PromptQuorum infrastructure — not your prompts, not your API keys, not your responses.
